Healthy snacks for on the course

In this week's blog post I am going to highlight a few of my favourite snacks for on the course:

Something to be aware of for your on the course snacks is to not eat anything that has too high of a GI level, this even includes avoiding high sugar fruits like bananas.  The reason for this is you want to try and keep an even keel on the course and a sugar spike can throw you off your game.

My favourite choices on the course are:

  • Almond butter spread on celery sticks with sea salt
  • Mixed nuts with dried gooseberries and dried blueberries 
  • Apples
