How golf clothing has evolved

When I first started golfing in the late 80's I remember my mom wearing khaki shorts with massive pleats that sat at her belly-button and an Antigua cotton polo cut to fit around a box, sound familiar?

(sorry Nancy ;)

Hopefully you have thrown out those oversized khaki shorts and cotton pique polos and moved into the 21st century of golf clothing!  Not only has golf clothing evolved from what my mom used to wear but it has changed so much that it can also be used as active wear, office wear, or just everyday wear.  Here are some of my favourite pieces that we carry at mygolfcloset.com that are great for a large variety of your daily needs:

Abacus Draw jacket is a stylish faux leather jacket, not only does it look great but it functions as a waterproof and windproof jacket as well!

Cross Sportswear Rain jacket is 100% waterproof and seam-sealed for the rainiest of days but it is also 4-way stretch.  I use mine for golfing, running, hiking, or just doing errands on a rainy day around town.  It comes in black, turquoise and raspberry.

Daily Sports Livia wind jacket, this piece is great on the course but very stylish off the course as well.  It has a prima-loft fill that keeps you extra warm on those cool days.

GG Blue Shiloh pant, following the trend of the dressy sweatpant, we have added the most comfortable sweatpant you will ever own.  Perfect for around the house, running errands, or dress them up with a nice blouse and flats.

JoFIt Jumper jacket, this piece is awesome for the course on those cooler days with its full stretch but also a very stylish piece for everyday use.
